It's o-fish-al and salmon had to say it: Yay! Summer is here! The porpoise of this week's parade is to whalecome the season, as members of the VFG take this opportunaty to kelp you reel-in fintastic, ocean-themed vintage fashion. Oh, buoy!

At MagsRags.net, an 80s hand blocked cocoon coat by Ignacio Peri, done in ocean colors with fish and stylized waves galore


A 30s Hollyvogue necktie in a woven brocade that reminds me of those iconic Japanese woodblock prints of ocean waves


This 70s poly jersey maxidress uses a great print with waves, a pebbled beach, and lots of different seashells. And it comes with a matching long sleeved shirt!


I just listed this 70s cotton shirt on Etsy this week - featuring a fishy border print.

And finally, no link because this 50s cotton long sleeved men's shirt isn't listed. I keep intending to.... but I also love the fish and net and bubbles print a lot.

I love, love, love this 1980s shift dress by DAVID WARREN. Just a minimalist touch of the nautical theme in the color-blocking and gold tone real metal buttons. This is dead stock with the original tags. $162 in the 1980s translates to $500+ in today's money. Really well made and quite chic, IMO. Size Small.

For a little girl, Lolita kind of look, check out this cute unbranded Y2K era skirt and top set. The fabric is swishy, scarf-like material in a multicolor seashells and other ocean-life print. Size M/L.
