I'm not sure what this is called, when it's from etc. It could be vintage or it could be modern - I don't actually know. When I burn test it the fabric ignites, continues to burn and leaves no bead. Any help would be great! Thanks!
I agree with Marsha. It is a vintage shawl and looks like someone made it into some sort of garment. Probably in the 1970s, but not sure. The shawl does not look antique, but is vintage. The older ones (for example 1920s) would have hand knotted fringes, with much longer fringes, and the shawl would be larger in size, generally.
