Show off your parents (or relatives!)

    I do believe it is ballerina length. I actually found the ad for my mom's dress in with her papers.

    Cheers Viviene - I'm always grateful to learn more about dress terminology, and having the original ad for that wedding dress is an amazing find!

    Alley Cats - incredible photograph! I'm having trouble trying to date it, but I'm guessing its either 20s or early 30s. Your grandfather was such a bonny baby!

    My picture is from about 1890 to 1900. I barely remember this Grandfather and he was a very old man then. Funny thing is he looked exactly like this picture...no hair or teeth.

    Wow, I would never have guessed that date! Her dress is quite short.

    I've heard this theory/joke that all babies look like Winston Churchill. Sort of unkind, but sort of true too!
