Do you just say wooden heels? 70's?

<img src=http://image.inkfrog.com/pix/magnolia05/70swoodheels5.jpg><br><br> I may have asked about these before, but cannot remember.:puzzled:

I know they look like wood but the heels are leather if they are stacked. They don't make stacked wooden heels. I don't know if there is a name for type of shoe. Its a 3/4 sling-back strap with an open toe vamp pump, or you could also call it a sandal as when you get to a shoe with this little upper its a toss-up as to whether its a sandal or a pump with a strap back and open toe.

Thanks, Jonathan, you are a life saver. Off to change.

Carolyn, thanks. I played with the lighting on my photoshop a little.

they also look quite contemporary, about 3 seasons ago Tom Ford did some like this for YSL and there lies a story. Being an avid shoe collector I had to have them even though they were a size too large. Result worn twice and I'm waiting for Ford to get really collectible before I unload them on Ebay (sob) the heels are over four inches high with the satacked look, ankle straps and peep toes.

Uh oh, Louise. Do you think I better take out of vintage category?
