The corset/dress is spectacular, but I'm cringing inside wondering how many beautiful old books had to be destroyed to create it.

In a perfect world, the maker would use only book bindings that were already heading for the ash heap, but it would be sooo tempting to buy antique books for their look, and deconstruct regardless of condition.

I love the whimsy of the ring.

You can "get away" with wearing whatever you like! Especially when it's for fun and "playing dressup." Who, in their right mind, and that matters one jot, is judging you?
