The white/cream silk made in the up I worn there twin which was not in perfect condition and they are very short even on a average lady they will not come far above the knee.

It looks so very fine in quality, and I'm learning so much on these threads. Pauline, I have a single embroidered stocking and single fingerless glove that were given to me at a sale, since their mates were missing.

Can I show these to you here? Although not saleable, I would like to know their dates for my own education.

I not expert on this period I would say the stocking are Edwardian may be even earlier. They also look like silk to me .

Pauline, your stockings are beautiful, and so is the label, yes I would think late 1920s to early 1930s .
