Thank you Maggie! The fabric and label made me think 40s but wasn't sure. I knew I could count on you ladies!Ummmm. WOW! 1940s I believe! Newspapers.com shows "Bullock's Sportswear Store for Women" showing up 1922-51.
Do you need this label in the Label Resource? I can take a better picture.Ummmm. WOW! 1940s I believe! Newspapers.com shows "Bullock's Sportswear Store for Women" showing up 1922-51.
You found another rare Bullock's label! And on a great pair of dungarees.Do you need this label in the Label Resource? I can take a better picture.
I mean except for the beautiful feel of the fabric, they looked so 70s. Thank goodness for a label right?I admit I wasn't sure either as I've never handled jeans older than 70s, but these are definitely cool!
Of course! Let me take a better picture. I'll take my finger out of it LOLYou found another rare Bullock's label! And on a great pair of dungarees.
Thank you, Sandra - of course, we would love to add it the Label Resource!
I get equally confused with crochet! I'm sure I have sold 1930s pieces as 1970s!Sandra, I can so understand the confusion. I wore a pair very similar to these in 1973, as a senior in high school. Oh, I thought I looked cool.
I am so glad to find out yours are 1940s--what a fabulous find!!
Thanks for posting!!!
