Ummmm. WOW! 1940s I believe! Newspapers.com shows "Bullock's Sportswear Store for Women" showing up 1922-51.

Sandra, I can so understand the confusion. I wore a pair very similar to these in 1973, as a senior in high school. Oh, I thought I looked cool.
