Blurb (written by me):
From a mid-50s Swirl wrap dress, we do not have a label that says sanforized like this in our Swirl collection.
From a 1980s jacket.
Not yet in the label resource is Richilene (Ilene & Richard Pacun). This label is from a 1980s lace & fringe dress.
Some useful info in this 1986 LA Times article - http://articles.latimes.com/1986-10-17/news/vw-5490_1_fall-line
Novelty label- from a late 70s sweater
from a De Pinna early 50s satin opera coat:
from a pair of 1930s stepins sold at Lord & Taylor. Looks like the L&T label matches the one from the 50s in the resource;
so it was in use for quite a while:
from a pair of mens 80s Gucci horsebit loafers:
1970s Woolmark bilingual hang tag from a mens Aquascutum tweed coat:
Kurrant - can't find any info on this make online but looks like maybe 1930s? It is on a brown wool cape.
Hope it's of use.
Kazure Bettijean Tweed Plaid Coat 1950s / 60s
Young America by Oleg Cassini label from an early 1960's dress.
Here's a Vanity Fair label we don't have, I'm showing the front and reverse.
From a pink nylon slip circa 1951-52. I found two dated adverts for the exact same slip (including the style number as shown on the label), one dated 1951 and other 1952.
Triumph International - from a 1980s swimsuit
Mademoiselle Dior, mid 90s bodycon dress:
Jean Paul Gaultier label from his controversial 'Les rabbins chics' or 'Chic rabbis' collection of f/w 93. Inspired by the hasidic jewish clothing style. This one is from a shimmering sage green rayon fringe dress.
Super cute Butterfield 8 label from a 70s caftan:
From a 70s cotton dress made with Liberty fabric
We do have three Serbin labels in the resource already, but this one is just a little different with the "designed by Marianne" at the bottom of it.
From a 1970s khaki safari tent dress.
From a mini-dress. Possible dates: 1968 through early 70s
Country of origin: Germany
Styles: Mostly mini-dresses
A young fashion line started by the German singer known as Manuela and sold through department stores. "Young, sporty, comfortable and chic - and all of that with music"
