Superb Vintage Mod Leather Coat

I don't have any questions, but does anyone ever acquire an item that really catches your attention?
I see "so many leathers", but I've only had one other one that could compare to this (it actually went to a large fashion house headquartered in England, but offices all over).

It's just soooo indicative of it's time.... and never worn!

What's even more usual although it's a small thing...
I see a lot of coats and jackets from this era, and usually the metal buckles if they have them, would be slightly pitted, but these ones are shiney like new.

Anyway, am I the only one who thinks this is cute?

I love the contrast stitching throughout...
I see those ROUND oversized sunglasses in white with a chic wedge raven haired beauty. Perhaps large black and white disc earrings and of course sleek gogo boots or over the knee boots... Taking the coat off I see black and white color block a-line mini dress...
You are right it is SO indicative of the times... Yet it has a fresh look that a modern day girl would be comfortable in as well.
And yes I know what you mean by the metal accents. I have found PERFECT leather items only to find the accents are pitted or scratched just from storage...

cool find

Michelle, love how you put accessories with garments and pics form in my
mind (hee, no easy trick)

Lynn, absolutely dynamite find. That leather looks soft as butter.

Sue

It is a soft leather Sue... so many of the vintage leathers tend to be a hard slick leather.

It never rains but it pours, I just got another vintage leather coat.... this one has a "huge" long shearling or goat fur collar.
