Texas Snowballs in May

well, more like quarter to baseball size HAIL~

we had a fabulous 84 degree day yesterday, and by afternoon, it was wild. Buckets of rain till 1am..and in between tons of hail!

the ground was so warm, it was melting as soon as the hail hit, and you could see steam rising. It was so fun!

here's my back yard.. looks like moth balls, but its ice:

you're right, Mary! All the car dealerships are advertising Hail Sale's today.. lol..

where are they getting these terms?? an Inland hurricane??? omg...

one reporter said the hail last night was "goose egg".. that was pretty silly.. then he said" about 2".. like why didnt he just say that? how many people have goose eggs laying around to compare size. gads!

yes! a helmet carrie.. the umbrella would have been torn to shreds from the hard impacts.

we had a total of 3" of rain last night.
what drought??

Well, if you're in the midwest, brace yourselves for it NEVER raining again. We fixed the leak in our new (100+ yr old) building, so I'm sure it will never rain again now. It took plenty of opportunities to pour by the bucket full while the replacement for rotten door that was the source of the issue was on order.:paranoid:
