The next exhibition at the Palais Galliera - Update

Oh, Karin, how I envy your ability to travel to these amazing exhibitions! We have the V&A David Bowie exhibition here currently, so we don't do without everything but since my return from Europe, I'm really feeling the distance and isolation.

Please let us know what it's like! Did you see the Button exhibition in Paris? It's really incredible, do go if you can. Even better than the Lanvin, and the Lanvin was wonderful.

Nicole, yes, since the Galliera has reopened, I have missed only one of their exhibitions. It is so nice to have this at such a short distance hello kitty emoti. I didn't make it to the button exhibition unfortunately on my last trip, because I went to see the Gaultier exhibition when I realised it was there. That one is now in Munich - where I go a lot less. It's a shorter distance than Paris, but it takes almost longer to get there, because the German railway company seems to be content with completely neglecting that railway line. It's still a single track, no electricity on some stretches. It's faster to get there by car, and cheap bus lines between Zurich and Munich are booming. I prefer the train though...

I know how you feel Nicole. Our four days doing the museums in Washington blew me away... and they didn't even have much clothing on display! Toronto is so... not in league with the big guys. We have some very nice collections - Bata Shoes, Textile Museum, occasionally the Royal Ontario Museum has something worth seeing, but so much of what he have is filler or endless contemporary bullshit art installations.
