The next instalment of my 40's look

I have been watching some old films that the costumer mixed wine & maroons with true reds. It was a real "popper" on film and showed inspirational color courage. Pauline, your 40s coat is burgundy wine? You could keep a dark skirt or tweed, greys and POP a few accents with red! Like a belt, brooch or and purse(lipstick, duh), you get the idea. It really works well together and is "out of the norm" which I love!
