"The Shop for Papagallo" dress dating

I've got this dress that is labeled The Shop for Pappagallo Beverly Hills California. I tried looking up the brand, but everything else I see for Pappagallo are either shoes or outfits that look nothing like this and doesn't really give me too much info to go on. Does anyone have a good idea of a date on this or more info re the brand? I would guess late 60s-early 70s, maybe inspired by the Romeo and Juliet movie? Any help is appreciated!

Wonderful dress! What are those raised decorations on the bodice made of?

I think you're right about the date. Here's a pattern from 1972.

Thanks all! BTW- Cin- it's an 18" plastic talon zipper, total length from shoulder to hem is 51 1/2" . Joyatri, the raised decorations are like a gold metallic thread.
