Thrilling?

Maybe its me but this sounds so odd. I would rather have the original item sent back to me to resell or do whatever I wish with it. Not knowing where it will wind up is not my cup of tea. On some other website? What do the owners of Thrilling do with these returns? But then again I question everything to death.

Do they even TELL the seller that the item was returned?

And I am not a fan of having a 30 day return policy, especially with antique hats and clothing. I do not take returns. Many of my customers purchase a hat to wear once for a special occasion. The thought of having them return it the day after the event and then seeing it on another site for sale would make me crazy!

I agree I hate the return policy and I don't see much in sales and have a very quality large inventory site. Thrilling resells your returns at there price and what I don't like right now is that Thrilling is only promoting really ugly or crappy clothing and doesn't rotate or allow you to just relist you have to manually do it again and again to be relevant. I have over 600 items on both Etsy and Thrilling and to manually work both is insanity. I have never seen any of my nicer ( the majority) promoted if promoted at all and they instead are picking out the cheapest so my bulk and my money items are impossible to see in over 550 pages if I do not list them daily.
Also they hold your money for up to 8 days depending when it is sold during week. BUT Etsy is garbage anymore. I went for 8 years with at least 40k a year and 2021 went to 30k and 2022 is under 12k. I cannot find my own items on either site.
Ugh.

I can see why you are concerned - that is a significant drop. It's very stressful when the ground keeps shifting underneath your feet. And somehow it never seems to shift in my favor!

Hmm I am 69 yrs old and want to just be retired but my survival depends on my sites. I never thought of just downloading my links. But I do not know how to use websites etc so dependent on 3rd party sites all of which are not good for vintage it seems.
