Time frame question about a Laura Ashley corduroy jacket

    If you google 2110 Crescent St, Montreal - you will a photo of the lovely Victorian rowhouse building the shop was housed in. I graduated high school in 1970 and it was very popular at that time for prom dresses.

    It reminds me of a shorter version of my early 80s Laura Ashley coat
    (Referred to as the “Lady Di” Coat according to the attached Sept 21, 1982 Ottawa Citizen newspaper article)
    Sounds like it came in a similar range of colors making me think it may be from the same period.
