Touche L.A.

Hello, I am doing some amateur sleuthing in connection to an unidentified body found in Meridianville Alabama in 1995. This woman was found wearing a red short-sleeved top with large pink buttons with the label Touche L.A. https://identifyus.org/en/cases/10029

I have found that some Touche L.A. clothing on E-Bay and Etsy, one with a Weiner's Dep't Store label, which is a defunct company which catered to the urban minority population in several southern states, including Alabama, but cannot find any information on the brand itself, or where else this might have been sold. http://img3.sellersourcebook.com/users/147275/2116-4.jpg

There is a shirt, currently listed on Etsy, which was made in Mexico, unlike the one in the link above, which was made in U.S.A.

In 1995 I would expect the line was most likely being manufactured in Mexico.

The label is unfamiliar to me. Weiner's seems a good bet for the retailer. Where were the Alabama stores located?

I also find that the company who bought out Weiner's catered to a predominantly Hispanic clientele, which may be the race of the woman. http://www.bizjournals.com/houston/stories/2001/08/20/story3.html?page=all

I can't help but think that this unknown company, and the location of the stores who sold their clothing, could help pinpoint where this woman came from.
