I have been a collector (and lover) of vintage clothing for many years, but I’m completely clueless when it comes to these furs. I’m thinking the brown one may be muskrat or some type of faux fur from the 40s or 50s, the full length cream I’m hoping is mink from the 50’s/60’s, and I’m really not sure about my newest find, maybe lamb, otter, or seal. I don’t have a clue about the age with this one. Thanks in advance!

Hi, The first coat is muskrat and it dates to the 40s. The second is mink and it dates to the 70s. The third is mouton and I think is 50s. They are all very pretty.

Thank you so much, I appreciate your help! It’s been fun researching fur/vintage styles of fur coats but it is also very fun when you get to chat with someone who is an expert! Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post!
