Unusual iron care label

Hi there!
I recently bought a dress which is supposed to be vintage 1970s. I’m trying to use the label to identify whether it actually is from the 1970s. I’ve looked at a few different articles online to help with dating and having trouble finding this unusual iron symbol.
Any help would be really appreciated thank you!! Id love to find out when it was made

Certainly looks appropriate to me! I don't think you need to worry about the particular shape of the iron symbol.

Oh great! thanks for your help Donna! I just thought it was strange it was a more modern looking iron in other care labels, probably reading into it too much!!

Cute! It looks right for 1970s, and I can see it's a polyester / cotton (katoen is Dutch for cotton) mix, so easy to wash and should also be easy to iron, but iron it on low due to the polyester content.
