Hi everyone, I bought some jewelry recently, most was from early 20th century, this pendant was on a very long sterling silver chain (pendant is not silver). I have absolutely no idea what this pendant is or where it is from (has a hand etched 'D' on the reverse). Anyone have any ideas? Much appreciated :) tribal3.jpg tribal2.jpg

  2. It appears to be 1970s when the Egyptian trend of hieroglyphics came back into fad

Thank you for your reply. It's a fun little pendant and being a 70's child myself, I quite like it :) thanks again.

  4. If it's lightweight it may be aluminum and if it's a bit heavier it may be pewter.

Hi Bonnie, it is quite lightweight so I think you're right. My mind drew a blank and I was stuck on pewter, aluminum makes perfect sense. Thank you :)
