The face reminds me a little of the pre-cursor to the Barbie doll, the German Bild Lilli Doll.

I so agree. They are fantastic. Buy them as mannequins, but never use them as mannequins! I have a 1986 Susanna Linsmayer mannequin by Adel Rootstein that I never use as such. She decorates a corner of the breakfast lounge!
