The pictures are priceless!
I can't get enough of the horsie in the kitchen!
That does it; I must get wisteria for my little house.
Jen, I thought my little corner of America was the only place that still did shaped notes! That's really cool. And there's no better work than people who sing for Hospice.
Okay, where do I start?
I spend a lot of my time involved in projects, things like the shopping bags I'm selling for my animal rescue group. I also make journals, and work in various art media.
I sew, especially now that I just spent the money George sent us on a new sewing machine. I'm in love with it; it does everything except purchase the fabric for you.:D
I also garden. It just is not summer without fresh tomatoes and green beans.
I walk a lot. My little studio house is about a mile from home, and so I walk to it everyday, and then walk to the PO, and then walk to MIL's to check on her.
I love to read, but do not spend enough time doing it. I love both fiction and nonfiction and am always open to suggestions!
Lately I have not been on the road as much, trying to conserve energy, but about every 2 weeks I do animal transports - taking dogs from our shelter to no-kill breed rescues across the area. I combine those trips with vintage shopping!
And to satisify my inner nerd, I always have a research project going. Right now it is the up-coming sportswear workshop I'll be presenting in a few weeks on the public board, but I also have plans to do some research and writing about some local industries, including Beacon blankets (and robes) Biltmore Homespun and the Vanderbilt Shirt Factory.
And everyday, at 4 pm, is cocktail time.
