Thought you'd like to see these dresses with family provenance.

First is the 1876 graduation gown, second, an 1870s Dolly Varden style and third the 1882 wedding gown. All belonged to Harriet Augusta Richardson of Billerica, MA.

Enjoy!

Thanks Chris, I really enjoyed researching these dresses and was able to track down Harriet's great grand daughter who supplied a copy of a photo of her as well as birth and wedding dates and the location. I had to find the HS graduation info but it was not too hard once I had the location and birth date.

Anyway, I'm pleased to finally have them ready to go!

Absolutely gorgeous-both the dresses and the photography.

I love the gray and blue color combination.

How exciting to be able to find so much information about the original owner!

Lovely, Candy! What awesome dresses, and your presentation is top notch!

I'm always envious of people who know what to do with these antique pieces of apparel.... I'd be all thumbs with 'em and would likely ruin a few.
