Victoria's Secret tag inside piece...question.

Hi. So I have a whole lot of Victoria's Secret lingerie and I have come across something I have not seen before. I have white labels inside, pink, gold but I came across my first red one. I tried to Google it to learn something and all I get in about red tag sale items! LOL

Does anyone know anything about red labels/tags? Thanks.

Hi Misty! This is super interesting! I am always looking to add to my knowledge of Victoria's secret labels. I personally have not seen this one before. I will say it appears to be a modern label, based on the font and placement of the tags. Can you add a photo of the other tags and the writing on them? Most VS pieces have a number code which will tell you the date of manufacturing (it's usually small and under the care information).

Hi Misty - I haven’t seen this particular label either. I agree with Jolene about the font and tag style being modern. Can you take a picture of the bottom hidden label? That may shed more light on the era. As Jolene mentioned, the number code may contain dating info.

I, too, haven't seen that label but from the uniform colour appearance, I would be considering whether the garment has been dyed. It appears to be a very dark shade, even black, but a red dye over another colour, depending on the original shade, might produce something very dark like this.

That crossed my mind as well, but being the garment appears black I wasn't sure. Def a possibility!
