UPDATE: Found out it is a Charles S. Kahn handbag from the Florida location. For sure 1950’s.
Probably belongs in a museum. LOL

    Hi!
Newbie I here. Just grabbed this at an estate sale. Need you experts to help identify it.
    Approximate size: 7.5” x 12”
    Period: 1950?
Like New Condition - original paper packing is in place, original comb and mirror are still wrapped and in their pockets. No stains, cracks or slipped stitched.
Ivory satin, embroidered and with pearls. Vinyl covering. White translucent Lucite bar and handle.

Any help or advice is welcome. 0B9F4DCB-49A4-465F-ADC5-1FABC757EDA6.jpeg

Very pretty. I was going to ask to see the interior and closeup of labels, but it sounds like you have made good progress in your search for information!

    Thanks for your response, Maggie.

The only things missing on this piece are the actual paper label inside and the box the purse came in.

Have only found two other similar bags on the internet, and one of those is in the UK.
