Hello! I recently acquired a gorgeous green dress second hand. It has two labels, one from the Galeries Lafayette on which I couldn’t find additional information, and a Bellville Sassoon Lorcan Mullany tag circa late 80s/early 90s, judging by the design. It also has size and material tags attached, and was made in England. I cannot find any trace of the dress online!
It seems well made, some parts are hand sewn. The lining is real silk and has discoloured in some areas. The buttons are plastic but have held up perfectly. The zipper is a basic YKK zipper. Chiffon underskirt. Hook and eye closures and both base and top of zipper. Photos below, would greatly appreciate help on solving the mystery of this dress!
