If you live anywhere near Portland Oregon I strongly recommend you visit the National Button Society Annual Convention which will be held Aug 3 - Aug 10. I went to the convention in New Hampshire and it was a blast - amazing buttons on display, tons of vendors, educational talks, etc. Best of all, my friend Matthew Brown will have a vendor table at the Oregon convention. He also sells vintage clothing online and would enjoy meeting any other vintage folks. He is coming all the way from Normandy, France to participate.
