Vintage Fabric Guide? Adele Simpson?

Still trying to id this fabric. It has lines going across. I looked at the ones suggested but still not sure.
 
I agree with Maggie in that it's a type of satin weave, a variation on a jacquard I would think. Not actually quilted: it's woven to give that look, although a close up of the front and underside will help.

It looks like a lovely Mother of the Bride suit from the late '50s to early '60s - it's three pieces, isn't it? A skirt, top and jacket? The fabric looks like silk to me. So if it's reversible I will go with silk damask, and if not reversible - silk brocade or silk brocatelle.
 
Ok. I am a bit confused. The suit has the label in the VFG from late 1950s for this designer but inside the skirt is a Union Label from 1963 to 1974.

So can I assume all would be correct as Nicole stated early 1960s? Thanks in advance for any more help on this suit.
