Vintage Fur Identification Help?

    Hi! My mother picked up this fur cape and I'm trying to figure out what it might be. The guard hairs seem particularly long to me relative to the undercoat, which seems denser and fluffier than I'm used to seeing on mink, if that makes sense. Does anyone have any idea what type of fur it is? It's a relatively cropped cape, lined, with no variety label I can see.
