Vintage fur identification (pre-1961?)

    Hi, I recently got this fur cape but I haven't the faintest idea what it's made of. Any help would be great, thanks!

    I would bet its olive baboon, which is actually not endangered, but I suspect it is illegal to sell. You should check first. It looks like a 30s/40s evening cape, probably made for colonials, rather than for export.
