I recently bought this fur stole but am having questions as
to the kind of fur it is. I originally thought mink but has a very
soft hand and a warm golden color. There is no label inside. Any ideas? IMG_8426.JPG IMG_8431.JPG IMG_8452.JPG IMG_8454.JPG

Looks a lot liked dyed squirrel. Very nice! We have a fur researcher here on the VFG and she may come along and make the proper ID.

Hi there, Very pretty. It does look similar in construction to Russian squirrel however it's actually muskrat.

Interesting, muskrat. I guess the lighter color was throwing me off as I
always think of muskrat being a darker fur. Thank you so much for your
    help!
