Vintage Fur

Hi all, would anyone be able to tell the what kind of fur this is? I purchased it at an estate sale only knowing it was true fur by a bit of the exposed inner lining.

 

Looks like mouton but can you get a close up shot of the ply?

 

I’m fairly new and unfamiliar with all this, what part would be the ply?

 

To show ply, you just get in real close to the fur, maybe putting your hands through it.
