Vintage Inspirations: Statement gowns

At Paris couture week, the sensationally sartorial gather to attend high fashion presentations of Chanel, Giambattista Valli, Schiaparelli, and other of the most creative minds in high fashion. The spring 2019 shows, being no exception, were all about the statement gown. It was a true WOW moment, with gowns that were voluminous and frothy, or sleek and dramatic, in a rainbow of hues. This week we dress to impress—with a show of our most head-turning gowns from all eras and in every color imaginable.
