vintage pucci -- beautiful blues and greens -- unusual construction

Hi Tamara! Long time no see!
I keep forgetting your user id and was asking not too long ago if sgriffin was you -- I had forgotten. ANyway it wasn't you, as you know!
Nice Pucci.

WOW Tamara.....it is SO great to *see* you! :clapping:

Your Pucci has a fabulous print and knockout colours. The style to me is slightly reminiscent of an Oriental cheonsung(sp?).

Very, very nice!

jonathan! sue! :) great to "see" you too. :)

i'm starting to get my feet wet again, with ebay. how have things been there, lately? i see bidpay is no more. recently, ebay pulled an auction of mine because i had said that i only accept paypal bank transfers, not paypal credit card payments. that hurt, as it was a dress that had generated a lot of interest.

does circa 1968 look right for this dress? is anyone very familiar with pucci? is this unusual construction, or am i just not that well-versed in pucci?

interestingly, it seems that of the items i have listed recently, it has been the more recent vintage that has gotten more bids/attention.

thanks and cheers :) t

I would have thought it was early70s because of the length, slight fullness to the skirt and the broader shoulder line but Pucci is diifficult to date because the print is everything, the cuts are usually quite conservative.

jonathan :) i thought '68-'70, but this is one of those things where, 'tho i can place it in the general timeline, exact dating escapes me. so i put "circa," which allows me some elbow room. hope it goes. i double-listed it, which may attract more interest.

thanks and cheers :) t
