l expressed my interest in this, havent recieved anything as yet.
 
Sorry if I'm sounding dense here - I just want to clarify... The links we're going to add are all going to be our own? Every week I will just add a link to the link folder to one of my own posts for that week? And then on the day we post I will include everyone's link?

I understand the rules as laid out in the Yahoo Group but what I don't get is what links I am supposed to be putting in the links folder.

I feel stupid. lol

Hi everyone. Sorry for my absence. We're going to work out all of the questions and logistics this week. I think I need to revise my "handy dandy" instructions because I seem to have confused everyone. Please be on the lookout for emails from [vintageroadshow] . If you did not sign up for email alerts, you might want to until we get this going. Otherwise, you will have to keep checking the message board on the Yahoo groups page.

Sara, I have sent you the invite 3 times now, to both of your email addresses. Is it possible they went to spam? Do you have any other email address you want to use? Can you sign up for a Yahoo groups account?

Yes, I think I expressed interest early on, but don't know the details of the revised/complete plan. Didn't get any info via mail....so add me in.

l found it, l did see it but it had an attachment - so l ignored it...have clicked sign up...what now? I think lve completely misunderstood the idea..l thought it was a collective blog link..

but is this just an area to post relevant interesting links ot vintage material from anywhere on the web?
sorry, but i think lve missed the point, l dont get it.

Im a member of a recycle group and the layout is the smae, we just offer items for recycling...

how does this benefit the vfg? l must be really dim...

Glad you found it. It is a collective. What we will be doing is each member adds a link from their blog that they felt was a good post. Then you deposit your link on the Yahoo Groups board. On Monday's, you can copy and paste all of the links from the group on to your blog in a post.

This is what it would look like: http://www.debutanteclothing.com/news/2008/07/websnob_weekly_roundup.html

Your blog's name would be in bold and some part of the description of your link will be a link to your original post. What this does is get people reading others' blogs to come take a peek at yours.

This isn't strictly a VFG members group. I opened it up to the public.

I am going to be creating a tutorial with pictures so that everyone feels comfortable adding their link.

how is anyone going to locate us? what would they search for? isnt the vfg really doing this already on our blog...sorry l'm being dense...isnt it just replicating?
