Vintage? Sequin Dress

Hi! I have just seen this possibly vintage dress and am going to have a late lunch while I think about going back for it.

It has shoulder pads, so I am pretty sure it's from the 80s. I remember this type of sequins being really popular in the 90s, however.

The brand is Keri Craig, a reasonably famous Australian designer. As far as I can tell, she's still operating.

Does anyone have thoughts on the decade?

Thank you, the sequins definitely made me think that, as this material was really popular in Australia in the 90s. Thank you for your quick reply! The shop closed while I was at lunch, oops, so I have more time to think about it now anyway.
