hello all - recently came across this sweater. it reads ste. laurent - does any have any idea if there's any relation to ysl / yves saint laurent? thank you for your time !

I would say it has no relation to Yves St Laurent.

I agree - nothing to do with YSL, and I guess it may be 50s, so maybe before he even was known as a designer. Just a coincidence...

Agree: not YSL, and agree with late '50s to '60s date.

Orlon is an acrylic fibre: synthetic wool.
