Vintage XL or XXL Silk Sarong Dress - Anything I Can Add Here?

I hope everyone is having a great summer! :)

I've been in vacation mode the last month...
so now I'm "trying" to get back to work.

I thought I would show this dress.
The style is wonderful and it's a great larger size, which I hope can be visualized by the pictures.

I usually try not to clip items, as I like the actual shape to show, but I had no choice with this one because of the style.
I also added lots of measurements, including sleeve size, etc.
If I am missing anything that might be helpful, please let me know.

That is a great dress! I don't think I have anything else to add.

But if it were me, I probably wouldn't have used "excellent unworn condition" in the subtitle. It takes up a lot of space. I would probably put "hourglass" in there instead. (or if you prefer "curvaceous" but i think hourglass is searched)
 
oh Lynn, btw...most importantly...it doesn't say "Black" In fact i don't think i see it in the listing either unless i am blind. and "Back vintage dress" IS most definitely searched

And one last thing - what about "Wrap".

Wrap dresses are searched right now...and someone looking for a "sarong" usually is usually looking for a tropical print. I wouldn't vote sarong off the island, but the "wrap" people might more be looking for this dress than the hawaiian sarong folks.

I didn't realize Black was searched so I added it to the title.

This one doesn't wrap so I couldn't add that.

Hi Lynn!!

Gorgeous dress but in all honesty I would not have compared this to a Shaheen Sarong, a sarong would wrap and tie at the left hip and have a Floral Hawaiian print.

Your dress was more than likely a custom tailored set from Hong Kong and if the texture of the fabric is raised it is probably a floral silk or satin brocade which the tailors there commonly used, OR silk damask if the print is flat and reversible.
Also, on the right sized display that dress would be a bombshell WIGGLE dress and I would definitely have that in my title.
Check for hidden pockets because that is where you will usually find the label. :)
Vintage 50's BOMBSHELL BLACK ROSE WIGGLE DRESS L XL XXL (EXACTLY 55) I wouldn't worry about putting in 50s, most buyers search 50's for some reason.

Oh...its good to put the color somewhere...anywhere..some people want a certain color of dress and don't want to wade through to find them

Tori - that's what i was sorta thinking too. I expect to have some sort of wrap feature in the skirt as well to have a true sarong dress.

I always thought anything with one shoulder was a sarong style, but I took it out anyway. :)

I went all over it, no labels (I've learned to seach.... I have a Stavropoulos I just acquired and the labels were way down on a seam).

The heat is brutal here today and the AC doesn't seem to be cutting it.... (remind me I was complaining when the cold hits this winter :snowman::D
 
Lynn, I WILL remind you....hehe It has been hot here to and I think most everyone's A/C system's are having a hard time keeping up with the high heat. I have mine set on 74 and during the day the coolest my house will get is 76-77 until it either rains or when the outside temp drops at night then my house hets freezing cold, ahhhh that's the way I like it.....un huh un huh!

I like that title much better, wiggle is highly searched and hopefully you will do well with it, I am VERY tempted.......my size :USING:

By the way Lynn, I am back on antibiotics again for that cough and pain pills for the muscle pain, still coughing and have been taking them for 3 days now and STILL in major pain...I HATE being this sick.
