Wedding Dress help

Hi! I saw this wedding dress a woman claimed to have found at an estate sale. She dated it to the 1940s and I just want a bit more info on this dress and others like it. I’m searching for a dress and fell in love with this one so any tips on a direction to search in would be so helpful!

Lovely dress. It would help if you could tell us more about it, but on the available information, it appears to be late 1940s in my opinion. Unusual shoulder treatment.
