Western Wear Roundup
The initial Calgary Stampede was held in March of 1912 and from 1923 onward has been held annually in July. It celebrates Calgary's Western Heritage and has always included men & women in its competitions. Native tribes have also played a role ever since Tom Three Persons, a Kainai Nation member, was crowned the world champion bareback bronc rider in the very first rodeo.
This week we showcase our members' very best Western & Native tribal stock -- a true vintage roundup!
