What style of dress is this?

Picked this up at an estate sale today for a few dollars. I have a few other dresses in this particular type of style and wondered what style it is? Am I right in thinking that this dress is from the 60s? It has a back metal zipper and is by R&K Originals (no care tag or fabric content tag). Thanks once again

we LOVE R & K clothing! and that is adorable!

but, well, technically, it's only a "scooter" dress if it has (or hides) shorts underneath the skirt (so you can ride a scooter without worry of showing your undies).

dropped waist. asymmetrical design. turned collar. all 60s elements. SO cute!
