What would you call or how would you describe this fabric?

This is from an (I think) 70s dress. It is some kind of synthetic. It has a floral pattern outlined in sort of shiny thread which looks like embroidery, but I don't think actually is. The floral parts are puckered. The fabric outside of them is kind of textured or woven in fine lines. Then the blotchy circles, as you can see in the centre and top right of the photo, are sheer.

I can't for the life of me figure out what this might be called, if it even has a name? A sort of metelasse is perhaps the closest I can get. Does it have a name, or if not, how would you describe it?

From what I can tell from the picture, I would describe it as a Burnout Jacquard or Cloqué fabric.

I might call it a novelty brocade or brocatelle. It does have some aspects of a Matelasse' also.
