The song used for my theme is by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, for the movie What's New Pussycat, famously sung by Tom Jones. Bacharach and David were a perfect songwriting team.
Maggie, MEOW! That was wonderful! I heard about Hal David yesterday evening, during dinner chat when we were listening to an old 1960s Tom Jones record (yes a real LP record) and my boyfriend told me. No one to replace people like that, sadly. Sigh. Funny how you did a tribute the same day he passed away. Very nice indeed.
Now if you had a leopard pattern raincoat you could do "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" and "What's New Pusseycat" at the same time! Boy, am I corny or what?
