This dress is from Mode O Day and I suspect that it is 1950's based on the garment construction (metal zipper, unfinished or pinked seams) and after finding a few example of Mode O Day labels online. I am wondering why it has 2 rows of 4 buttonholes in the bodice. I imagine there was some kind of removable panel? But I have not been able to find anything similar while hunting online. (or rather I'm not sure what keywords to use to find a similar example and I would love it if someone shared one!)
