    Hello Everyone-

I am a newbie to this site, but I need consul. I have attached a fur I got a the SA. I will be honest, it was half off day and I couldn't walk out the door without it. It is a size 2x, had two rips on the shoulder and the pelts are stamped canadian beaver. I had been my original idea to get the rips repaired and flip it.

When i took it to the fur repairer, all he said was, "let me see what can be done. We can repair the rips and let's see if we can bring it back to life."

Well the coat is ready. Attached is the, "after' pic. And gee, suddenly those pelts are speaking my language. I am not a 2x, but a large.

My question to you is this:

    1. What era does the coat date from?
    2. would you restyle the coat and if so, what would you suggest?
    2. Im thinking the following: shorten to 2 inches above the knee, have the waist more fitted, change the collar. Thoughts?
    3. If you would restyle a different way, what would you do and why?

    Thanks so much

What is the label on this coat? What does the lining look like?
