OOOOO! my absolute FAVorites!!!! thanks for the memory bump, Chris!!

Chris, that is beautiful! Don't underestimate your talent--it turned out wonderfully! I would have thrown it out the window out of frustration long ago...

And I, too, would like to live in a human-sized version of that beauty!

Oh yes, that Fairy Castle at the museum of Science and Industry is unbelievable.

I have been to the Art Institute in Chicago, but I didn't know about the miniature rooms - they look amazing. We spent quite some time there, but it's so big we only went for the paintings by our favorite painters (one of my very, very favorite paintings is there).

The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam has some amazing 17th/18th century doll houses - and they are huge!

Personally, the one doll house I would want to have is the house that was available for the Sindy fashion doll in the 80s. It's an English country house, and can be played with from all sides. It looks amazingly real, and even has a garage for her Range Rover - just as it should be. But if I had that thing, I would definitely need a bigger place to live, I think this house would need an extra room :hysterical:. I love nothing better than realistic looking miniature accessories, furniture etc. for my dollies... :duh:
