Hello, I have a silk skirt by Zoran and I can't for the life of me figure out what kind of fabric this silk is. It has a soft hand, but the fabric has a sort of crumbled wave to it. All of my textile school knowledge seems to have escaped my memory. The fabric is 100% silk and quite sheer, each panel is draped in about 3-4 layers. Could be Plisse?, but looks a bit different to me.
    Any help is much appreciated!

Difficult to see the fabric, can you show a close up photo? I think it is not a particular weave, but that the silk has been purposely wrinkled/pressed after production to give it the wavy pleated effect. It does not look to be plisse.

It looks like a crinkled silk gauze to me—Not sure though.
