OK, I found this hard!
Here are some vaguely nautical things:
From Vogue pattern preview pamphlet (c.1952/3?)
Fabric probably isn't quite the thing as it's not really an image but anyway, 1950s ladies blouse (saved for fabric as in poor state!)
And finally Womans Weekly front...
Lizzie that's lovely - I was just looking in the mall and remembered you'd posted. I keep looking for Lila bath things as they're really similar, but this is very nice indeed!:)
Visited the hairdressers yesterday and have been in a bit of a mood ever since as I feel a bit like Samson. My hair has gone from past elbow length to shoulder length... but I only asked for a trim! Think hairdresser was fed up as I was late getting across chaotic town at 9am, but anyway not to...

Popped in today.. small boutiquey thing with vintage clothing and costume jewellery. Worth a look if you're passing, but definitely worth ringing first if there's something you're particularly after before you...
I noticed this on the UK vogue site, and thought it was a nice way to browse away 15 minutes or so...

(Obviously I was researching, not just browsing when I found it! ;) )
You braved it Liz? Hope you got those elbows nice and sharp! ;)
I don't think they have anything at my (small) local branch but I really want the Daisy blouse... off to town just incase (once small child is deposited at nursery).. What did you get?
Vitryte sounds feasible (viatlity etc!), but as Kelly says a pic would be great if you can get one, or a scan of the label so we can try and decipher it!
LOL - I too got drawn into the topshop website looking for the Celia Birtwell collection launch date (anyone?) - although blatantly it will be a Stella McCartney h and m debacle where it sells out in 3 minutes and I'll only be able to get it on ebay.. - anyway what I'm saing is, you're not...
Listed last night, as found (a few spots and a tear in the paper liner) but dry cleaned and wearable as is!
It's back to work proper as of today, so plenty more to come.. ;)
Oh Laura, I feel for your decision! The Lilli Ann is fabulous, and someon will snap it up I'm sure. Both kits are fantastic too.. off to take a look ;)
Wow! Barbara that is a fantastic selection - I never used to be a hat person but recently am developing a bit of a thing for them... These are gorgeous, and your photo's are great too :)
