She gives a very nice shoutout to the VFG. Apparently we date back to Girl Boss era so we are ancient!

FYI it's a large download so it's best to open it up on a regular computer and not a smartphone.
I have a photocopy of an article from American Fabrics (Winter 1955 - 56) about Modern Master fabrics and don't see any examples of this pattern.
It has a great look. Could it be an Associated American Artists print? Somewhere I have a link to a PDF with images of all (or most) of their fabric...
I don't even bother with thrift stores anymore. They are SO picked over. When I do go in there is always a t-shirt guy or young woman with her phone out, buying anything that's remotely good. As Hollis said, we do get quite a bit of LL Bean stuff but it's always expensive. I just don't have the...
Oh that is FANTASTIC!
I had a Claire McCardell/Fernand Leger Modern Masters dress many years ago and it went to a renowned collector.
Somewhere I have the photocopies of an article about the Modern Master that I will try to find today.
What an amazing find!
With that paper tag and label, I am pretty sure that those are 70s. They are fantastic! Bell-bottoms are back in style so they are very on trend.
And now I have the 70s Gap jingle in my head!
I wholesale a ton of 90s stuff. 70s is doing well for me too. Bell-bottoms are back! And, don't get mad at me, I had a massive Y2K haul recently that I expect will do well at Brimfield. The woman worked at Maurice in the early 2000s and she SHOPPED. I have Playboy shirts, low-rise shorts with...
Those are beautiful! They remind me so much of something my mom would have worn.
I'm just prepping a fun 70s animal print nylon kaftan to list. I love a good 70s print!
I'm pretty sure it's contemporary or not quite old enough to be vintage. They started outsourcing their manufacturing to Asia in the mid-90s.
I don't think LL Bean stuff is faked. Unfortunately, the quality isn't quite what it used to be (as I look down at my contemporary LL Bean flannel shirt...
I see Y2K too. I just had a house call at the home of a woman who worked in the mall in the early 2000s and there was a lot of stuff like this - including some stretchy shirts that are TINY (like 6" x 6") but with lots of stretch.
