I'm sorry, Alicia, but I wouldn't be prone to think that is a Pucci print.
I'm really glad you let us use your label & I hope we can help you again.
Looks like I'm gonna miss out on this challenge. :-(
I took my clothes to work today hoping someone could photo me in them, but, we were crazy busy.
What time does this shindig end tomorrow, anyway? hmmmmm
I'd sorta like to see the garment, as well.
If that isn't too much trouble. I'm sure the prints must be really close, aren't they?
And Alicia - Welcome to VFG!
I hope your seller does right by you.

I, too, belong to the "Vintage Doesn't Fit Club" as Joey put it.
But Contemporary doesn't fit me either. LOL
I'm 5'10" and wear a size 6 or 8 - sometimes a 4, depending on the vendor. Slacks normally hit me abot 3" above my ankle. I have a 35" inseam, so I tend to wear men's jeans a lot - or...
I think it may be 80's...The reason I say that is because the Romantica label was used in his early collection - 1974 (thanks, Jonathan!)
And I *think* some designers were trying to get away from the harshness of 80's style with the romantic look in the 80's to early 90's.
BUT - I am No...
This IS a Terrific Thread, Deb!!! Thanks for starting it!
When I first started wearing vintage ('72), I immediately mixed it w/contemporary stuff.
Gorgeous 40's jackets with jeans (bellbottoms, no less). fabulous 40's dresses with "new" shoes - platforms of course. Even boots, because the...

Well!!! Yeehaw on the label!
And thanks for the edited pic, Pauline. Ya wouldn't happen to have a push-up bra handy, wouldja? ;)
I'll show the new improved pic in a sec...
The outfit is at the shop & Evvy won't let me bring anything home to take the pics.
So - I'm stuck with her half mannis or else live models. Reagan thought this would fit her - NOT! - but there isn;t a manni there I can show the pants on.
This is getting to be a real PITA. I'm thinkin it may...

I don't want to hurt my model's feelings, but do ya think she looks like a sausage in it? TIA!
Is there such a thang?
I took a couple of stitches out & there isn't an "a" at the end of this name on the label...Could it maybe have been cut off, or could it maybe be an "irregular" label? Or is it FAKE?
TIA!

Hello Y'all.
My name is Leisa and I'm a vintageholic. ;)
I have my best friend Carolyn to thank for getting me started down the vintage road.
We got into vintage clothing and jewelry waaay back in the 70's when we needed unique garments to set ourselves apart from the other "girls" in our...
queenie - all I have to add is that you may want to photo it with black undies, etc to illustrate the cutouts for your buyers. It's easier to 'show' than to 'tell' IMHO.
