What a dress! These usually have damage on the shoulders from the weight, so the underarm damage is more likely to be perspiration - but it's a better place to do repairs because you won't see it. Maybe you should send it to me and I'll see if I can fix it for you ;)

Thats a beautiful dress!! So many lovely details. I love the "yoke" effect with those multi colored flowers and how they are repeated at the hem. Amazing.

Well thank you very much ladies. I must say it was difficult taking the dress of the mannequin. Not because it's delicate, but because it's just the most gorgeous eye-candy and I couldn't take my eyes off it!

I'll let you know how I get on with finding a someone to restore it.
